FISTF is criticized again
FISTF receives another "hit" of criticizes, like Materazzi in the past World Cup.Taking a look to the FISTF Official Forum, http://www.fistf.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1163&start=15 , we can see another empty discussion about the European Cup system. Everybody knows the rules fixed for this kind of event, where first FISTF gives a list of teams qualified by world ranking and the rest of places are decided by each national federation. So, teams qualified by national competitions and their substitutes are decided by each federation, and only FISTF decides to fix the number of substitutes for each country according to some conditions explained in the handbook. But some teams or players seem not to understand that the rules are to be respected by everybody, and they only know to criticize to FISTF, and the hard work that our international federation have to do during all the year. Again, like the past year before the European Cup in Portugal, Bologna Tigers players appeared in the FISTF forum criticizing the FISTF´s work, and asking them why their team cannot play when their club have played many international tournaments and organize a Major tournament, but they are not qualified: is this a reasonable motive to avoid the rules fixed by FISTF? is good for the development of our sport to let some clubs to do whatever they want? From Le-Première Blog, we wish to have a "democratical" Federation, where everybody respect all rules fixed by FISTF, and if any rule is wrong, then FISTF must organize a general meeting in order to change the rules. One year more, we have to see "strange movements" before an Europa Cup, where a team not qualified to play it, they are contacting directly to FISTF in order to get "directly or indirectly" a place to take part in the maximum competition. If a team think that they have the right to get a place in the Europa Cup, they have to contact their national federation and ask them why they don´t have the qualification, is the national federation who has to take a decision and to give explanations about the decisions taken to their clubs. One more time, Le-Première Blog remembers that FISTF is not a professional federation, so their members try to do the best for our small sport, perhaps a little of help from any player would be better than to criticize them for all the things that FISTF do. Each year FISTF receives pressure from "individual persons" in the moment of important competitions like World Cup or Europa Cup, and this is not good for the seriousness of our sport, FISTF must stop these pressures, why the people could think that "Maffia" is also in Table Football... we want a fair sport!!
