Real Madrid gives hopes of getting closer to Barcelona and Villarreal

The team coached by Bernd Schuster suffered loss no. 9 in 17 games so far in the season; now, Barcelona are four points, Villarreal are six points behind the defending Liga champion.Maybe Real Madrid missed Diarra and his crucial role on the field, allowing Valencia to take control of the middlefield little by little; young Argentine Banega had a fine performance, while Silva sent Villa a cross to put the guests 1-0 ahead in the score at minute 34.But the current Liga champions can always count on Raul, who restored the equalizer after powering a cross from Robinho. But there was one more goal from him to help Real Madrid rally the score, hoping Spain coach Luis Aragones see he’s still alive and kicking.Yet, Valencia had a happier Easter for Italian defender Favio Cannavaro fouled Silva, the referee called the penalty. Villa (Aragones’ muse) turned it into a goal.Valencia seemed tired after Copa del Rey win over Barcelona last Thursday, so Real Madrid felt confident to try some attacks with Robinho, Sneijder and Higuain (who replaced the Brazilian player); however, Arizmendi was the one scoring the third goal to oust Real Madrid at home, though Raul missed a chance to score the third goal in the very end. Valencia will return to Madrid next April 16 in an attempt to improve their path in the Liga, at least in the very end of the tournament
