Raikkonen comfortably won the Malaysian GP

Defending world drivers' champion Kimi Raikkonen in a Ferrari has won the Malaysian Grand Prix at the Sepang circuit whuile McLaren's Lewis Hamilton finished fifth. Poland's Robert Kubica in a BMW-Sauber was second with Finland's Heikki Kovalainen, in a McLaren, taking third place.

The win was a vindication for Ferrari after a poor start to the season at last weekend's Australian Grand Prix. But Raikkonen's teammate Felipe Massa failed to finish the race for the second straight week.
Raikkonen duly took the chequered flag by 19.5 seconds from Kubica, with Kovalainen a further 18.8 seconds back in third after enjoying a relatively quiet afternoon.
Despite chasing down Trulli, Hamilton was unable to pass the Italian and had to settle for fifth, while Heidfeld crossed the line in sixth.
Webber claimed seventh while Alonso picked up the final point for Renault in eighth.
